Watershed Studies have been completed, are in progress or will be completed for the City’s 22 watersheds over the next 5-10 years. This study is called the Wingra Proper Watershed. The Watershed Study Report describes the methodology, approach, and preliminary results of the study, including potential improvement solutions.
City Engineering has identified potential flood reduction improvements that include pipes through many parks in the Wingra Proper Watershed. This presentation is designed to inform the Board of Park Commissioners of the proposed improvements and get feedback on the acceptability of projects. These are refined improvements and will be included in the final report.
