Title
Authorizing the execution of a Declaration of Public Bus Shelter Easement on lands located within Warner Park, at 1425 Troy Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division is reconstructing Northport Drive and Packers Avenue - Engineering Project No. 53W1014 and 53W0321 in 2011-12; and

WHEREAS, the reconstruction of the Northport Drive portion of the project includes the installation of new public sidewalk on the south side of the existing right-of-way of Northport Drive, adjacent to Warner Park, at 1425 Troy Drive; and

WHEREAS, the Engineering Division plans also call for the installation of a concrete pad for a future Metro bus shelter site for Warner Park; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division, Madison Metro and Parks Division have corroborated in the plan for the new bus shelter facility on lands located in Warner Park; and

WHEREAS, Parks Division staff have reviewed and approve of the easement for public bus shelter facilities to be located within Warner Park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Declaration of Public Bus Shelter Easement allowing for the installation of a bus shelter facility within a portion of Warner Park located at 1425 Troy Drive, within the following described lands and depicted on Exhibit A.
