On February 4, 2013, the Plan Commission approved a conditional use for a hospital and helipad on a 41.5-acre parcel located at 4602 Eastpark Boulevard in the American Center. The conditional use approval was subject to the applicant, the University Hospital and Clinics Authority, receiving approval of a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan for the hospital by the Plan Commission following a recommendation by the City Traffic Engineer prior to issuance of building permits for the project.
The project team filed a proposed TDM on February 8, 2013 and has requested that it be approved by the Plan Commission at its February 18, 2013 meeting. Copies of the plan were provided to the City Traffic Engineer and Metro Transit the same day.
