Total expenditures are projected at $80,000.  Funds are available from an Urban Forestry Grant ($25,000), and an additional ($55,000) is available in the Parks 2005 Capital Budget, Project #17 "Storm Damaged Tree Replacements".  There is no additional impact on cost controls, the tax levy, or General Obligation debt borrowing.  Funds available in Acct. No.

Title

Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for  Tornado Tree Replacements, Contract No. 5838, and amending the 2005 Capital Budget to allow for grant funded expenditures. 

 

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Tornado Tree Replacements be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.

 

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Project  #17 "Storm Damaged Tree

Replacements" of the 2005 Parks Division Capital Budget is amended to allow

for an additional $25,000 in grant funded expenditures, and total project

spending of $80,000.
