The proposed resolution amends the 2019 Parks Division Capital Budget by transferring $84,000 of existing GO borrowing authority from the Beach and Shoreline Improvements program (Munis 10605) to the Forest Hill Cemetery Improvements project (Munis 17166). Funding is available for this transfer.
Title
Amending the 2019 Parks Division Capital Budget to transfer existing GO borrowing authority between major program Beach and Shoreline Improvements and major project Forest Hill Cemetery Improvements.
Body
WHEREAS, the funding needed to accept the low bid for BPW 8386 Contract - Forest Hill Cemetery Improvements 2019 is $659,000 ($610,233.10 BPW 8386 Contract award and 8% contingency); and
WHEREAS, the adopted Parks Division 2019 Capital Budget includes $575,000 in GO Borrowing authority available for the contract award, and
WHEREAS, the Forest Hill Cemetery Improvements 2019 contract includes several improvements to the existing storm drainage system to address flooding issues that have been occurring in adjoining neighborhoods to the cemetery; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient remaining funds in the Beach and Shoreline Improvements Program from projects that have been completed that are available for transfer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the adopted 2019 Parks Division Capital Budget be amended to transfer $84,000 of GO Borrowing from the Beach and Shoreline Improvements Program to the Forest Hill Cemetery Improvements project to provide the remaining funding needed to award the BPW 8386 Contract.
