The Fire Department has ambulance cots and power systems that need ongoing service. The Fire Department has purchased Stryker power cots and power load systems. The negotiated contract will result in savings to the City over paying for service at the time and materials rate.
The contract would be effective March 1, 2014. Stryker has offered the City a no increase contract for five years. The annual cost of the contract is $5,779.90 with a total cost of $28,899.50 for five years.
WHEREAS, every ambulance cot and power system needs ongoing maintenance and repair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approves contracting with Stryker Corporation for these services effective March 1, 2014 for one year with four options for one year contract extensions,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute this contract.
