Revenues of $4800.00 per year will accrue to the Traffic Engineering budget.

Title

Authorizing the Mayor and other City officials to sign an agreement with the South Central Library System (SCLS) for the use of City fiber optic communication cable.

Body

WHEREAS, the South Central Library System (SCLS) desires to use City fiber optic cable to connect their facility at 201 West Mifflin Street to Vilas Hall, 821 University Avenue, and

WHEREAS, City Traffic Engineering has installed and maintains fiber optic cable and a conduit system in  the downtown and campus area, and

WHEREAS, the SCLS will pay for the installation cost to bring fiber optic cable from the City manhole on Mifflin Street to termination facilities within the building.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and other City officials are authorized to sign an agreement with the SCLS for the use of City fiber optic communication cable.
