PREAMBLE
The Town of Madison and City of Madison have a joint project in the Nygard/Sundstrom neighborhood to improve storm water quality. An underground storm sewer system will be installed within the existing Right-of-Ways of both the Town of Madison and the City of Madison.
The existing pavements of Nygard Street and Sundstrom Street are in very poor condition. The City of Madison proposes to resurface both streets immediately following the completion of the storm sewer installation. The City of Madison will resurface the road with the 2005 Resurfacing Contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Madison for cost sharing for the resurfacing of Nygard Street and Sundstrom Street.
