Fiscal Note

This agreement covers 2 projects.  The project on Badger Road is paid for by the Developer, no cost to the City (Proj #53B2061, RES-05-00730).  The project on Todd Drive / Beltline Frontage Road has been previously approved and funded by the City (Proj #53W0303, RES-06-00023).

Title

Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement with the Town of Madison for connection of City Sanitary Sewer to the Town Sanitary Sewer System.  (City of Madison, Town of Madison, City of Fitchburg)

Body

WHEREAS, the City has determined the need for new sanitary sewer installation to faciliate new development and redevelopment within the City; and,

WHEREAS, the two sanitary sewers shall connect to the Town sewers to provide for the extension of service in the most economical manner, and in accordance with the Inter-Municipal Agreement between Madison, Fitchburg, and the Town; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 66.0301 Wisconsin Statues, City and Town wish to formalize arrangements for allocation of each party's share of costs and future maintenance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Madison for connection of City Sanitary Sewer to the Town Sanitary Sewer System.
