The total estimated cost of the project is $325,000. Funding is available in MUNIS project #14525. No additional appropriation is required.

The Capital Budget includes funding for the Rennebohm Park Shelter Restroom Renovation. The project funds the creation of four single use restrooms, a warming room and a storage bay within the existing enclosed space of the current park shelter building at the Rennebohm Park Shelter, located at 115 N. Eau Claire Avenue, Madison, WI.
This resolution approves the plans and specifications for the project, authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise for and receive bids for the project, authorizes execution of any lease or easement documents necessary to accomplish the project and authorizes the acquisition of materials and services required to successfully complete the project.
The current construction market is exhibiting significant variability in material and labor costs due to supply disruptions and consumer demand in construction bidding responses. City staff continue to closely monitor bid results for potential adjustments to the project estimate and schedule. A budget amendment may be needed to award the construction contract.
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the plans and specifications for the Rennebohm Park Shelter Restroom Renovation hereby approved.
2. That the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the Project.
3. That the City Engineer and Finance Director are hereby authorized to obtain all Furnishings, Fixtures, Equipment and Materials necessary for the Project in accordance with City Purchasing Poli...
