DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance amendment rezones property located at 709 Northport Drive from SR-C1 (Suburban Residential-Consistent 1) District to TR-U1 (Traditional Residential-Urban 1) District for future multi-building residential and institutional development.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Map Amendment 00702 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
“28.022-00702. The following described property is hereby rezoned to TR-U1 (Traditional Residential-Urban 1) District.
A parcel of land located in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 26, T8N, R9E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northeastern corner of Lot 1, Northridge; thence S64°20’52”E, 381.76 feet along the southwesterly right-of-way line of Northport Drive (State Trunk Highway 113); thence S01°16’20”W, 366.65 feet; thence N89°51’05”W, 349.00 feet to a point on the east line of said plat of Northridge; thence N01°24’14”E, 531.08 feet along said east line of Northridge to the Point of Beginning. Contains 156,397 square feet (3.590 acres).”
