I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.

 

 

DISABILITY RIGHTS COMMISSION

 

WENDI DWYER (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Will Ringland. Wendi Dwyer is a former teacher and the former executive director of Lost Boys Rebuilding Southern Sudan. In that role, she was the founder of Literacy at the Wells, a program which helps teach South Sudanese women how to read as they gather at wells to get clean water for their families. She is legally blind and has worked with the State to improve website accessibility. She has also been involved with Combat Blindness and Beyond Compliance with Downtown Madison, Inc.

MADISON FOOD POLICY COUNCIL

 

LOGAN MORROW (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Jamie Bugel. Logan Morrow is a master farmer and works as a farm specialist with Exact Sciences. In addition, he runs an agricultural and sustainability consulting firm.

OVERTURE COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL

 

ANNA M. GONZALEZ (7th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of City Appointee. Anna Gonzalez is the community engagement coordinator for the American Players Theatre. She has worked to increase access across a variety of populations including creating a tiered pricing structure to ease financial barriers.
