Body

The John M. Olin Trust was established in 1924 for use by the City of Madison for improving, beautifying and adorning park spaces. The Board of Park Commissioners reviews and approves plans for projects that have been completed annually and that are planned the following year.  In addition, the Board of Park Commissioners reviews and approves the request for annual disbursement funds from the Olin Trust. Investing these funds in the parks not only improves the park system, but also highlights the importance of philanthropy in our community.
