As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Rachel Darken, the Fleet Service Superintendent salary will be based on an annualized rate of $149,500. Funding for this position is available in Fleet Service's 2026 Adopted Operating Budget.

Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Rachel Darken to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Rachel Darken;
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Rachel Darken’s appointment to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Rachel Darken.
