Fiscal Note
The re-creation of the vacant 1.0 FTE position #605 of Administrative Clerk 1 in CG 20, R9 in the Community Development Division budget as a Community Development Technician 2 in CG 20, Range 16 would result in an increase in annualized costs of $10,636 including both salary and benefits. For the remainder of 2016 this re-creation would result in an increase of salary and benefits costs of $3,545. The re-creation of position #3889 would result in an increase in annualized costs of $6,410. For the remainder of 2016 the increase in total costs would be $2,137. These costs will be absorbed within the 2016 Adopted Operating Budget.

Recreate position #3889 (currently occupied by A. Kenny) in the Community Development Division budget as a Community Development Technician 2 in CG20, Range 16, to be posted internally.

Resolution to create the classification of Community Development Technician 1-2 in CG 20, Ranges 14 and 16 respectively. Be it further resolved, that the vacant 1.0 FTE position #605 of Administrative Clerk 1 is deleted and recreated as a 1.0 FTE Community Development Technician 2 in the permanent salary detail of the Community Development Division budget. In addition, the 1.0 FTE position #3889 of Community Development Aide is deleted and recreated as a 1.0 FTE Community Development Technician 2 to be filled through an internal competitive process. The incumbent will underfill the new position as a Community Development Aide until the competitive process is completed, thereof.
