Assessing Benefits Northeast Industrial Area Phase 2 Assessment District. (17th AD)
Body
WHEREAS, the construction of Northeast Industrial Area Phase 2 Assessment District Improvement(s) in the Center for Industry and Commerce plat has been completed; and,
WHEREAS, the total cost for the construction of the improvements was over the assessments levied against the benefiting properties; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Madison retains ownership of some of the properties within said assessment district and shall be assessed the actual amount of the construction, while the properties owned by private property owners shall be assessed the maximum amount that was originally levied; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the abutting property is to pay the amount per the attached schedule of assessments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the sums so charged to the abutting property be and are hereby assessed and levied upon said property payable by the owners of the lots or parcels of land benefited as determined by the Board of Public Works, and in accordance with its recommendations, the amount so charged to each of the lots or parcels of land so benefited being as follows, to wit:
