Ald. Paul Van Rooy, Common Council President, hereby submits for your consideration and approval designating Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4 to serve on the Ethics Board. (Per Madison General Ordinances 3.47(10)(b) *  - expires April 18, 2006)

* (b) The membership of the Ethics Board shall consist of 4 citizen members, 1 representative of the Mayor; the Common Council president or her/his designee who shall be an alderperson; and 1 representative of organized labor. The Human Resources Director shall provide necessary staff assistance to the Board, shall serve as its secretary, but shall not vote. The City Attorney shall furnish the Board whatever legal assistance necessary in the carrying out of its functions.
