Title
Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2021 - 19 Authorization of Budget Transfer of Overdose Fatality Grant Funds
Body
Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) was previously awarded the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to operate an overdose fatality review partnership in Dane County. Due to the constraints of permanent staff in COVID Emergency Response, and the needs to continue implementation of the case review process and recommendations to action processes, additional hours were needed from the OFR LTE to support the work. It is being proposed to move a portion of the grant funding from supplies and purchased services to personnel.
The transfer of funding within the OFR grant will address the following grant objectives:
• Continuing an OFR case review process and implementing recommendations to action meetings with case review partners.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts of Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Grant as outlined below, for the purpose of continuing an overdose case review process and facilitation of recommendations to action meetings.
