Authorizing the Clerk to issue a summons to Zapl, LLC, dba City Bar and Restaurant, Adam Greenberg, agent, to appear before the Alcohol License Review Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, a complaint has been filed with the Common Council by Assistant City Attorney Jennifer Zilavy against Zapl, LLC, dba City Bar and Restaurant,
Adam Greenberg, agent, located at 636 State Street, Madison, WI; and
WHEREAS, said complaint avers Zapl, LLC, dba City Bar and Restaurant,
Adam Greenberg, agent, has exceeded 200 points of liquor law violations rendering any issuance of a Formal Expression of concern, within the meaning of Sec. 38.10(4)(d), Madison General Ordinances, inapplicable; and
WHEREAS, Zapl, LLC, dba City Bar and Restaurant, Adam Greenberg, agent, currently holds a Class B Combination alcohol beverage license which expires on June 30, 2007, and has held Class B Combination alcohol beverage licenses issued by the city of Madison on the date of the alleged violations; and
WHEREAS, Sec. 38.10(1)(a) authorizes the Common Council to issue a summons when a complaint has been filed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to issue a Summons to Zapl, LLC, dba City Bar and Restaurant, Adam Greenberg, agent, to appear before the Alcohol License Review Committee at its June 20, 2007, meeting.
