Fiscal Note
These parking fine increases are anticipated to yield additional General Fund/Parking Fines revenues of $700,000 annually. The anticipated revenues have been included in the 2006 Executive Budget.

Amending Section 1.08(3)(a). of the Madison General Ordinances to increase several bail deposit amounts.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinances increases the bail deposit amounts for violations of Section 8.14(2)(c)1.a., Expired meter - municipal parking facility, Section 12.1339, Street sweeping parking restrictions, and Section 12.145, Expired meters - streets.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (a) of Subsection (3) entitled "Schedule of Deposits" of Section 1.08 entitled "Issuance of Citations for Violations of Certain Ordinances and Providing a Schedule of Cash Deposits" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by amending therein the following:
