I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.


ETHICS BOARD

MARY (EILEEN) HARRINGTON (18th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Mayoral Representative succeeding William C. Keys. Eileen Harrington is an attorney by trade and is currently self-employed as a consultant. She is a career civil servant having served for 27 years at the Federal Trade Commission, retiring as its executive director in 2012. She also served as the chief operating officer at the U.S. Small Business Administration during the first two years of the Obama Administration. More recently, she chaired the City’s Task Force on Structure of City Government.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2027

HEATHER DANIELS (15th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding David Albino. Heather Daniels is an expert on faculty and shared governance and currently serves as the Secretary of the Faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has been a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and member/co-coordinator of Expanding Your Horizons Executive Committee.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2026

TRAVIS R. AUSTIN (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Drew Cochrane. Travis Austin is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Master of Public Affairs program. He served on the Board of Supervisors for the Town of Berry where he drafted and helped pass a code of ethics modeled after the City of Madison’s code.
