DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance increases the citizen membership of the Madison Election Advisory Committee from five citizen members to seven citizen members.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      Section 33.29 entitled "Madison Election Advisory Committee" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:

"33.29      MADISON ELECTION ADVISORY COMMITTEE.  The non-partisan Madison Election Advisory Committee shall evaluate current procedures for elections and make recommendations for improvements in voting procedures.  The committee shall consist of fiveseven (57) citizen members appointed to staggered two-year terms, the City Clerk and County Clerk who shall serve as ex-officio non-voting members."
