Title
Vacation/Discontinuance of a portion of Littlemore Drive, as platted by Reston Heights.
Body
WHEREAS, This segment of Littlemore Drive was created by Reston Heights Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, The Meadowlands Subdivision, a later subdivision directly north of Reston Heights, created a different alignment for Littlemore Drive; and
WHEREAS, Lot 197, Reston Heights, a portion of The Meadowlands, and vacated Littlemore Drive is to be replatted as First Addition to The Meadowlands (City Engineering Project No. 53B2014), with the alignment of Littlemore Drive to match the existing alignment as platted in The Meadowlands; and
WHEREAS, The proposed realignment of Littlemore Drive does not require part of the existing right-of-way of Littlemore Drive; and
WHEREAS, Existing utility easements created by Reston Heights and The Meadowlands will be independently released by the City of Madison, under Real Estate Project No. 8013;
BE IT RESOLVED, pursuant to Sec. 66.1003(4)(a), Wisconsin Statutes, the City of Madison declares it is in the public interest to vacate/discontinue:
Part of Littlemore Drive, as platted in Reston Heights, recorded in Volume 57-134B of Plats on Pages 537 through 542, Dane County Registry, located in the NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 1, T7N, R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, to-wit: Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 197 Reston Heights; thence S88°44'57"W, 210.54 feet to a point of curve and point of beginning; thence southwesterly on a curve to the left which has a radius of 200.00 feet and a chord which bears S76°10'57"W, 87.03 feet; thence N63°36'57"E, 44.58 feet; thence N88°44'57"E, 44.58 feet to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, proposed areas are mapped on Exhibit A on Page 2 of this resolution; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the vacated right-of-way shall revert to Lot 197, Reston Heights, which lot is to be replatted in the proposed First Addition...
