Fiscal Note

Funding for laundry services is included in the Fire Department's budget.

Title

Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with May Vang, LLC for Fire Department laundry services.

Body

The City requested bids for laundry services (No. 7985-0-2008/SK) for all fire stations.  The term of the contract will be for one year with the two one-year options. Three vendors submitted bids to the City.  May Vang, LLC  was selected as the contractor to provide these services.

WHEREAS, the 2009 operating includes funds for a laundry services contract.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that May Vang, LLC is awarded the  contract.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the contract is  for one year but will also include two one year renewal options.

BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute this contract.
