Funds are available in the Acct. Nos. listed on the attached, with the exception of $9,720 in expenditures relating to traffic signal insfrastructure. While no additional general obligation borrowing is required and there are sufficent proceeds available in the capital budget of Traffic Engineering, the budget does not provide expenditure authority for this project. Therefore, an amendment to the Traffic Engineering capital budget is required to provide additional expenditure authority.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
 
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the 2009 adopted Traffic Engineering budget (project #7, "Traffic Signal Infrastructure", Acc't No. 810417), be amended as follows:
