Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plans and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the Overture Center Garage electrical upgrades. The total estimated cost of the project is $2.0 million. The Parking Division capital budget currently has $1.1 million in existing budget authority for the work. The agency plans to pursue an amendment to the 2026 capital budget to fund the remaining portion. The agency expects to have sufficient reserves to fund the additional budget authority.

Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for 2026/2027 Overture Center Garage electrical upgrade project. This project will include all electrical and security camera infrastructure. Two (2) electrical rooms, emergency power generator, electrical panels, breakers, conduit, cameras, LED lighting, roof lights, controls, etc. (District 4)

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for 2026 Overture Center Garage Electrical Upgrades, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
