Body

WHEREAS, the Madison Sewer Utility owns and operates a sewerage pumping station at 5414 Gettle Avenue which pumps approximately 750,000 gallons of sewerage per day, and,

WHEREAS, the pump station was constructed in 1966 and is now in need of an electrical upgrade and a general overhaul of many components, and,

WHEREAS, the Sewer Utility has budgeted for this construction in 2008 and for the consultant design for this work in 2007.  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Strand Associates, Inc. for the purchase of Professional Design services for the Gettle Avenue Lift Station Improvements.
