Commending Patsy Sarbacker upon her retirement and expressing appreciation for 32 years of service to the City of Madison.
Body
WHEREAS on January 7, 2005 Patsy Sarbacker will retire after 32 years of service to the City of Madison; and
WHEREAS Patsy has had a long and varied career with the City which includes:
§ beginning work as a Data Entry Operator with the City's Data Processing Division in 1973;
§ a promotion to Receptionist/Administrative Clerk and transfer to the Department of Social Services;
§ a transfer to the City's Housing Operations Unit where she worked as a Housing Specialist;
§ and finally, in 1987, a transfer to the City Comptroller's Office where she has worked as an Account Clerk 2 in the General Accounting Section;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby commend and express gratitude and appreciation to Patsy Sarbacker for her dedicated service to the City of Madison; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented to Patsy Sarbacker as a symbol of our appreciation and gratitude for her 32 years of service to the City of Madison and its citizens.
