Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes the execution of a Cooperative Agreement 2026 Renewal with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission for the investigation of water resources within the City of Madison through the Dane County Cooperative Water Resource Monitoring Program. The agreement renewal covers the period of January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The total cost of the agreement is not to exceed $19,500. Funding is available in the 2026 adopted Stormwater Utility Operating Budget. No additional appropriation is required.

RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement 2026 Renewal with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission for the investigation of water resources within the City of Madison through the Dane County Cooperative Water Resource Monitoring Program. Said agreement renewal covers the period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Financial Director be authorized to make payment to the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement. Said payment to be made from Account No. 84125-54645-00000.
