PREAMBLE
Segment 3 of East Washington Avenue will be reconstructed from Third Street to Marquette Street in 2007. A relocation order was approved by the City of Madison Common Council on February 7, 2006. Plans for the reconstruction of East Washington Avenue Segment 3 have been prepared by HNTB Corporation. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has agreed to pay 50% of the real estate acquisition costs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation for East Washington Segment 3 real estate acquisition.
