DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance amendment rezones property located at 2400 Darwin Road from IL (Industrial-Limited) District to AP (Airport) District for future construction of additional parking at Dane County Regional Airport.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Map Amendment 00746 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
“28.022-00746. The following described property is hereby rezoned to AP (Airport) District.
A parcel of land located in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 30, T8N R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the East Quarter Corner of Section 30; thence N88°37’18”W, 1323.24 feet along the South line of said NE 1/4 to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N88°37’18”W along said South line, 391.36 feet, to the easterly right of way of the Canadian Pacific Railroad; thence Northeasterly along said right of way, 1120.29 feet, more or less; thence S01°29’44”E, 1069.18 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said described parcel contains 4.5 acres of land, more or less.”
