Title

2026 Proposed Golf Fees

Body

The Golf Enterprise Program is expected to cover all expenses with revenue that is generated by the Program. The program will have fewer holes of golf available, as it will be effectively reduced from 72 holes to 54 holes at the start of the 2026 season. As such, staff have evaluated current market conditions, including reviewing publicly available fees of competitors and analyzing 2025 fees/trends to ensure that rates promote equitable access to golf recreation and that revenues will align with proposed 2026 Operating Budget targets.  Fees approved are maximum rates that may be applied and may be applied at lower rates as market and course conditions dictate throughout the season.

Staff propose the following changes in the fee schedule:

Changes in Fees

  • Increase maximum 9-hole fee by $5 and maximum 18-hole fee by $3.
  • Increased the college rate by $5
  • Increase loyalty card pass by $10 each
  • Increased facility rental fees to sufficiently cover cost of providing space
  • Increased Event Set-up Fee and tiering system:
  • Fees will be waived for leagues
  • Fees will be reduced for outings that opt for in-house catering
  • Increased the Wisconsin State Golf Association handicap fee $5
  • Increased the Personal Golf Cart fee by $100

New Fees or Changes in Services:

  • New 18- Hole Junior Golfer Rates
  • New 18- Hole College Golfer Rates
  • Putting Green League Fee at The Glen Golf Park

No changes proposed for the following:

  • Season Pass
  • Junior Golfer rate
  • First Tee and High School rates

The Golf Enterprise Program seeks approval for the proposed 2026 fees.
