Fiscal Note
This Employment Agreement establishes an annual initial year's salary of $148,056, which is the same as the incumbent's current salary and is included in the City Attorney's Office operating budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Mr. May to the position of City Attorney and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. May,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. May's appointment to the position of City Attorney is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. May.
