Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Addendum No. 2 to an agreement with the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) and the City of Verona to hire a consultant for the design of Lower Badger Mill Creek Interceptor Sewer and Drainageway. (1st & 9th ADs)
Body
WHEREAS, an agreement has been executed by these parties that provides for hiring a consultant for design services; and
WHEREAS, costs have been allocated to the parties with the City of Madison portion of the costs established at $130,855; and Addendum No. 1 at $35,495; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved the underlying agreements on 3/15/05 (RES-05-00269); and, Addendum No. 1 on 7/21/05 (RES-05-00627); and,
WHEREAS, the design phase is concluding, requiring several minor design adjustments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Addendum No. 2 to an agreement with the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District and the City of Verona to hire a consultant for the design of the Lower Badger Mill Creek Interceptor Sewer and Drainageway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that MMSD shall serve as the administrator of the design contract, and the City Engineer and Comptroller are authorized to approve invoices and make payments for the additional work under Addendum No. 2 up to $5,500.
BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby directed to include these additional costs into the Impact Fee District for recovery of costs as directed under RES-05-00269.
