Body
PREAMBLE
The City of Madison Engineering Division is conducting watershed and flood studies for the City as a result of extreme rain events over the past several years. The August 2018 historic event has highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach to Stormwater management to assist with identification of deficiencies on the system, project alternatives analysis for potential flood mitigation solutions, as well as prioritization and budgeting for future improvements to the system.
The City entered into an agreement with MSA for engineering services (RES-20-00361). The City Engineer requested additional engineering services and recommend that they be undertaken by MSA for the Willow Creek Watershed Study as defined below:
1. Conduct the Phase I Green Infrastructure Evaluate for the watershed to corroborate the results found in-house for the Pheasant Branch Watershed Study.
2. Summarize the solutions and present them to Engineering staff.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Amendment 1 with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for engineering services for Willow Creek Watershed Study.
