PREAMBLE:

The existing 5' by 8' reinforced concrete box culvert under Milwaukee Street approximately 480 feet West of Sprecher Road will be extended 170 lineal feet in order to build the proposed Driscoll Drive in the Nelson Addition to Rustic Acres plat.  This project also involves extending the dual elliptical culverts under Rustic Drive to allow the proposed street improvements.  This will be an assessable project.  The materials will be ordered by the city and provided to the contractor because of to the long lead-time of the manufacturer and cost savings to the city.

BE IT RESOLVED:

1.      That the City Engineer is hereby authorized to execute a purchase order for materials for the Milwaukee Street / Rustic Acres Culvert Extension.
