Title

Terminating the Declaration of Public Works Emergency per Section 62.15(b) of the                     Wis. Stats. to install a methane gas collection system in the right of way of Nakoosa Trail, and amending the 2004 Capital Budget. 17th Ald. District.

Body

WHEREAS, a Public Works Emergency, per Wis. Stat. Section 62.15 (1b),  was declared on August 18, 2004 to install a methane gas collection system within the right of way of Nakoosa Trail; and,

 

WHEREAS, the gas collection system has been installed by Joe Daniels Construction and Badger State Drilling Company/CGC;

 

WHEREAS, field monitoring indicates that the system is successfully collecting and removing methane from the ground and the emergency no longer exists;

 

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the emergency is hereby declared to be satisfied and is closed and the work is accepted as completed; and,

 

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the contractors, Joe Daniels Construction and Badger State Drilling/CGC be paid in full.

 

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Public Works Emergency declared on August 18, 2004 to install a gas collection system within the Nakoosa Trail right-of-way is hereby terminated.

 

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that this resolution increases the 2004 Capital Budget for CL53/810352 by $62,000, and the money will come from available funds.
