The annualized salary of $107,673 ($148,912 with benefits) can be accommodated in the 2009 Economic Development Division Adopted Budget, which includes $116,664 ($161,346 with benefits) for this position. Additional costs related to moving expenses can also be accommodated within the Economic Development Division's budget.

Submitting the name of Timothy J. Cooley for confirmation of a five-year term as Economic Development Division Director.
Body
Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Timothy J. Cooley to the position of Economic Development Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Cooley;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that Mr. Cooley's appointment to the position of Economic Development Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Cooley.
