Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2023-25 Authorization of Line Item Budget Transfers

This resolution includes a series of transfers within PHMDC to reflect projected spending levels through the end of the fiscal year; all proposed transfers are net neutral. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to move funds within appropriations during a fiscal year (IGA, VIII, G).
Transfers
· Communicable Disease:
o Transfer $472.56 from Program Supplies; $239.59 from Medical Supplies; and $0.55 Books/Subscriptions from the budget lines to Salary a total of $712.70.
o Transfer $176.41 from Conference & Training budget line to Fringe Benefits.
· PFAS and Overdose Fatality Review:
o Transfer $432.80 from Overdose Fatality Review Grant to PFAS Community Engagement Grant in exchange for $400 worth of gift cards and reimbursement of $23.80 service and activation fee.
· Well Woman:
o Transfer $1,008.00 from Purchased Services to Supplies.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts as outlined within the department.
