Body
WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has consistently provided quality programming for the City of Madison which helps inform the public of the actions of their elected officials; and
 
WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has won many awards over the years; and
 
WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has gained recognition on a national level by taking 3rd place in the category "Video Text Bulletin Boards" for its "Community Bulletin Board";
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Common Council do hereby commend Madison City Channel on winning a national award at the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) 20th Annual Government Programming Awards ceremony and recognize the many contributions made by the staff of Madison City Channel in connecting residents with their local government.
