Body

WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has consistently provided quality programming for the City of Madison which helps inform the public of the actions of their elected officials; and

WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has won many awards over the years; and

WHEREAS, Madison City Channel has gained recognition on a national level by taking 3^rd place in the category "Video Text Bulletin Boards" for its "Community Bulletin Board";

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Common Council do hereby commend Madison City Channel on winning a national award at the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) 20^th Annual Government Programming Awards ceremony and recognize the many contributions made by the staff of Madison City Channel in connecting residents with their local government.
