Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution deletes the classification of Fire Administrative Services Manager form Compensation Group 18, Range 12, recreates the classification in Compensation Group 18, Range 14, recreates position #2152 as Fire Administrative Services Manager (CG18, R14), and reallocates the employee, B. Sloat to the new position effective August 31, 2025. The estimated cost of the reclass is $17,720 comprised of annualized reclass costs ($11,469) and backpay ($6,251). The 2026 Fire Department Adopted Operating Budget has sufficient funding to cover the estimated reclass costs. Finance and Fire will continue to monitor the Fire Department budget and will evaluate if a transfer is needed during the mid-year appropriation to cover the reclassification costs. No additional appropriation is required at this time.
