AMENDED - Report of the Mayor submitting citizen committee appointments (introduced 9-5-2006; action 9-19-2006)

I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. "Statements of Interests" are on file in the City Clerks' office for those appointees required to file.
ADA TRANSIT SUBCOMMITTEE TO THE TRANSIT AND PARKING COMMISSION
MICHAEL A. HUCKABY, 2041 Helena St., 53704 (6th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Ambulatory Disabled Fixed Route User. Mr. Huckaby is actively involved in the betterment of public transportation and issues regarding ADA. He currently serves as the President of the Dane County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Wisconsin. He succeeds Sylvia Roberts.
TERM EXPIRES: 9-19-2008.
CDA HOUSING OPERATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE
For Information Only. The CDA Chair recommends the following reappointments:
GREGG T. SHIMANSKI, 2945 Monroe St., 53711 (10th A.D.) - reappoint to a one-year term to the position of CDA Board Member. First Appointed 12-3-2002.
TERM EXPIRES: 6-1-2007.
