Fiscal Note

Funding to implement the various recommendations has been included the 2010 operating and capital budgets of several City agencies.

Title

Adopting the 2010 Economic Development Division Work Plan.

Body

WHEREAS, the Common Council accepted the 3-5 Year Strategic Economic Development Implementation Plan on August 5, 2008; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council directed the Economic Development Committee to work with the Common Council, Mayor's Office, and Department of Planning & Community & Economic Development to prioritize the recommendations outlined within the 3-5 Year Strategic Economic Development Implementation Plan, with the intention that said recommendations be implemented through future work plans and budgets; and,

WHEREAS, the Economic Development Committee has prepared a 2010 Economic Development Division Work Plan based on the 3-5 Year Strategic Economic Development Implementation Plan and input from Economic Development Division staff.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2010 Economic Development Division Work Plan is hereby adopted.
