Authorizing the Madison Department of Public Health to accept up to $525,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services Division of Public Health for the Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) for the period of January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign for the City of Madison.

WHEREAS, on January 7, 2007, Common Council approved a resolution authorizing the receipt of $518,000 for the WIC program and authorized the Mayor and City Clerk to sign for the City of Madison, and
WHEREAS, The Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services Division of Public Health has increased this contract to $524,044,
NOW THEREFORE, the Madison Department of Public Health is authorized to accept up to $525,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services Division of Public Health for the Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) for the period of January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 to be used for wages, benefits, and program expenses and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign for the City of Madison.
