Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes an addendum to the existing contract for Stormwater’s minor capital project Starkweather Alum Treatment Sytem (MUNIS 10368). In the adopted 2016 capital budget, this project is a minor to the major TMDL Compliance project (MUNIS 10343) which is established for compliance with the WDNR/EPA watershed discharge mandates. Funding is provided by GO borrowing and Stormwater reserves.
Additional cost to the City of Madison is not to exceed a total of $20,056.00.
Sufficient budget authority exists in the project to fund the proposed resolution.

Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Addendum No. 3 to the Contract for Professional Services (no. 7405) with Brown and Caldwell for floodplain remapping and feasibility-level design for a stormwater treatment project adjacent to Starkweather Creek.
Body
WHEREAS, The City of Madison has previously entered into a contract for Professional Services with Brown and Caldwell to develop a feasibility-level design of a stormwater treatment facility to be located on the Voit property, now in the Town of Blooming Grove; and
WHEREAS, Brown and Caldwell has completed the majority of the work included in the original contract for the City of Madison; and
WHEREAS, Brown and Caldwell is qualified to do this work:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk area authorized to execute Addendum #3 to the existing Starkweather Creek Stormwater Treatment Project agreement with Brown and Caldwell to provide additional consulting services, as further detailed in the scope of services.
