Fiscal Note
This employment agreement establishes a base salary of $118,306, which is included in the Overture Center's 2005 Operating Budget. The agreement also provides for a payment of 75 days of accrued vacation ($34,170) when the agreement is approved by the Common Council. The vacation payment will be funded by the Madison Cultural Arts District in accordance with the Operation and Cooperation Agreement between the City and the Madison Cultural Arts District and, therefore, has no effect on the City subsidy to Overture Center.

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED WHEREAS, Mayor Cieslewicz has re-appointed Robert D'Angelo to the position of Overture Center Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his re-appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. D'Angelo;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mr. D'Angelo's re-appointment to the position of Overture Center Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. D'Angelo.
