Fiscal Note
The stormwater utility shall provide payment with funds in account number ESTM-58270-810392-00-53W0316.  Original estimates for construction was $105,000.00.  Final estimate for the approved plan set was $200,000.00.  The low bid was $184,013.00.  In accord with the agreement the City of Madison will pay for 75% of the actual costs (including design and contingencies) less any grants received by the City of Monona.

WHEREAS, the City of Madison has previously entered into an agreement for construction and maintenance of a stormwater treatment facility at the Lake Edge Outfall in the City of Monona; and
 
WHEREAS, the final estimate for the construction cost of the facility was $200,000.00 and the low bid was $184,013.00; and
 
WHEREAS, the City of Madison Stormwater Utility has sufficient funds available to pay our portion of this cost, in accord with the signed intermunicipal agreement;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is authorized to pay costs incurred in accord with the signed intermunicipal agreement authorized by RES-07-00078.
