PREAMBLE
The City of Madison has been awarded an Urban Nonpoint Source & Stormwater Management Program Grant (No. USC-LR08-13251-05) for the Wingra Creek Parkway Improvements-Phase 1 project. The grant, in the amount of $101,050, provides funding for design and construction management services, streambank restoration (including bio-engineering), and installation of two (2) water quality detention devices along Wingra Creek, between Park Street and (near) Baird Street, during calendar years 2005-2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Madison is hereby authorized to accept and administer an Urban Nonpoint Source & Stormwater Management Program grant received from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the Wingra Creek Parkway Improvements-Phase 1 Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute required agreements associated with the acceptance and administration of this grant.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby directed to administer this grant.
