Report of the Mayor submitting resident committee appointments to the Madison Food Policy Council.

I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.

 

 

MADISON FOOD POLICY COUNCIL

 

CATHRYN HERLIHEY (6th A.D.) -  appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Dadit Hidayat. Cathryn Herlihey is a farm to institution specialist with UW-Madison Extension. They are a former organic vegetable farmer and  they volunteer time and resources to farmers’ markets and community supported agriculture (CSA) programs.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2027

 

NINA R. COMISKEY (12th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Lindsey Day Farnsworth. Nina Comiskey is the double dollars coordinator with the Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin. She has experience across local food systems including as a former vegetable grower/vendor.
