Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes the creation of the Paralegal Mediator 3 in Comp Group 18/Range 09 within the Department of Civil Rights. The approximate annualized cost differential compared to the current Paralegal Mediator 2 position is $9,748.01 including salaries and benefits. The difference will be funded by the federal Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) grant the Department receives each year; the funding amount is based on the number of complaints the Department receives. Budget for the position has been included in the Department’s 2024 Executive Operating Budget.
